You will probably have to have it hooked up to a scan tool to have it reset. You used to be able to reset these with undoing the battery but 1994 and newer cars made it where it had to be reset manually with a diagnostic scan tool. Hope this helps.
Well I would go to an autozone if there is one close. They will read it for you and erase it for free. But they don't have an advanced computer just the scan tool, but I think it should work for what you need. Hope this helps.
