getting fuel..carb..turn over faster but will not stay running

Resolved Question:

I have a 3 wheeler with a 2200 size motor and I'm having problems getting it to start. Has an electric fuel pump and I'm getting fuel to the carb but the only way to get it to fire at all is hit it with some starting fluied which only causes it to turn over faster but will not stay running. Any suggestions?

do you have spark
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
I think so because when I shot starting fluid in the carb it would hit a lick, but would not stay running.

that dont mean its getting good spark starting f;luid will explode under pressure pull the plug and visually check it also spray some carb cleaner in the carb and let it soke might have to take carb off and clean it but check the spark first
