Overheats..Changed thermostat..water pump..radiator partially stopped

Customer Question

vehicle overheats. Changed thermostat last night, same problem. Could water pump not be circulating properly or radiator partially stopped up? Vehicle only has 91000 miles (2000 Chevy Silverado) so the radiator is probably not the problem. Help if you can. Thanks

Hello, and thank you for choosing Just Answer!

Here is a cooling system test procedure that you can perform in your driveway, without any special tools. If this test does not reveal any problems, then you will have to take it to a shop, so they can pressure test the system.

If you need anything else, though.. just let me know!
