My heater/AC fan motor works only at high speed. I need to replace resistor for the fan switch. Where is this resistor located on a 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7L ?
Optional Information: 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7LAlready Tried: Fan switch works only on high speed, for heater or air conditioner. I don't know where the resistor to this switch is located or if it is the switch that is at fault. Any help would be appreciated.... Roger
HelloCustomer Open your glove box 1/2 way, hold the sides in to open it all the way and slide it out. You will see the resistor bolted to the hvac housing behind the glove box. Has a 5 wire harness going to it. It is held by two 5/16 bolts.
Need ant more info please ask.
Oh, by the way, if the fan only works on high, it is probably the resistor.

I alwsys get them right from the dealer. Any dodge/chrysler/jeep dealer has plenty of them in stock.
