Hello, and thank you for choosing Just Answer!

PEople refer to a few things as the gear box on don't be mad if it seems like a stupid question, but...

Are you talking about the transmission?

I just want to make sure we are on the same page.

OK, so you have everything loose, and the transmission shaft is sticking to the clutch, huh?

You need to remove the slave cylinder from the transmission, and you may even have to take the lever off the transmission that connects to the slave.. If im not mistaken, I believe the throwout bering actually snaps into place when you put on the slave cylinder, and it is locked in..

If you aren't sure if you have removed absolutely everything necessary, or maybe tried to take a 'shortcut' (we're all guilty of it)..HERE are the instructions.
