2000 Jaguar XKR: 5 misfire (actually, cyl 1..Coil..spark plugs

I have a 2000 Jaguar XKR that is throwing the P0305, along with P1316 DTCs. "Cylinder 5 misfire (actually, cyl 1 on bank 2)". It''s DIS with Coil-on-Plug, but I don''t know where the darn spark plugs are. Can you help?


Ok, to access the spark plugs, you will need to remove the engine covers, the coil covers, and the coils as they are located directly underneath the coils

unbolting and removing coils:



Once coils are off, use spark plug socket with extension and ratchet to remove plugs.
