Customer

Raise the vehicle and secure it. Remove the front wheels. Loosen the bleeder screw 1/2 -3/4 turn. Unbolt the front brake calipers (2-bolts from behind). Raise the caliper and secure out of the way. (place pan under calipers to catch brake fluid). Depress caliper piston into caliper with brake tool or clamp (be very careful not to bind piston or tear boot. Close bleeder screw. Remove brake rotor (you may need to tap it too loosen it). Clean hub assy. Install new rotor. remove old pads from caliper assy noting location of anti rattle clips. And install new ones in reverse order. Make sure anti rattle clips are installed the same way they came out. Remount caliper on spindle. Bleed system. Remount tires and away you go! Thanks Joe

P.S. always use new dot 3 brake fluid never used!

Caliper out...bracket still in way of rotor removal.
Does caliper bracket have to be removed to remove front rotors on infiniti fx35? Tips?

Yes! Sorry, the two bolts I spoke of are the Caliper mounting bracket bolts. They come in from the rear should be either 17 or 19 mm heads. The caliper comes off with the bracket attached or without so you are still ok. Thanks, Joe
