Customer Question

2004 Saturn VUE 6cyl. automatic. Cruise control switch on steering wheel is not engaging. When the swith is pressed in the light will come on, once the switch is released the light will go out and the cruise control will not work. The cruise control will work if I hold in the activation switch constantly.

Optional Information:
2004 Saturn VUE 6cyl. NOT AWD

Already Tried:
holding in cruise control swich and setting cruise control...this does work. Once I release the switch, the cruise control shuts off.

That switch in the steering wheel has a broken part inside it and the switch will need to be replaced.

Reply to high tech's Post: do you have any idea how much the switch replacement will cost at the dealer with installation?

I would estimate the parts and labor on this job would be around 125.00 - 150.00
