i accidentally bent my car key. i can put the key in the ignition and turn it but te car doesn''t turn on and nothing happens. can you tell me what the problem is?

Hello and welcome to just answer.If the car had no problems starting before the key got bent then the key is still out of align with the ignition tumblers.If this is your only key you could take it to a locksmith to straighten out and duplicate before anymore damage is done. Another option would be to see if a dealership could make one for your vehicle. Hope that helps Jason
