my 1998 cadillac catera tc and abs light is on i have replaced the transmission and speed sensor and the dash cant show me how fast im going what next

Hello, sorry for the delay,

Here is some info on the instrument cluster, now keep in mind that this is a pretty complex system and failures can be with wire chaffing to connection failure...your best place to start is to remove the instrument panel and inspect the terminal ends and their connection sockets,,,,alot of times just by removing the panel and then reinserting it,,it will make a secure connection.

Have you had a scan tool hooked to the cars computer to retrive any diagnostic codes?

The ABS and the TCM are on different circuits, it appears there are 2 separtae issues, but they can overlap into each other,,,

Is the main concern the MPH display is inop,,,or is it that the trans shifts hard ...
