2004 chrysler pacifica: passenger side..dealership..bulletin..drove

This answer was rated:

the carpet on the floor on the passenger side of the 2004 chrysler pacifica is wet, do you have any info on why this is happening? we took it to the dealership and they "caulked around the area where the condensation from the airconditioner comes out" per an inside repair bulletin that they had on file, then they wet vaccumed the carpet. we the drove the vehicle 10 hours home and the carpet is wet again. we did not use the air conditioner, or heater, and there was no rain or water we drove through either.
Hello and thank you for using JA.

There is a couple of possible reason why the carpet is getting wet on that side,

First is probably the A/C condenser is not draining the water properly to the tube, where they suposed to drain.

Second posiblity is the water hose or the condenser it self is leaking, and this is very easy to find out, just check the coolant level of the car, if it is getting low as you drive then there is a leak, if not then you have to go back on the first issue.

Reply to DCM's Post: but we didn't even use the air conditioner on our 10 hour trip back home
Then you may need to check the level of the coolant and see if it is low or not.
