2004 chrysler pacifica: VW Passat (aka..month warranty..continental

Resolved Question:

I just purchased a 2004 Crysler Pacifica, we traded or I should say gave them a 1994 "vintage" VW Passat (aka- piece of shit) everyhting under the sun went wrong with that car, that why I''m so concerned that big repairs may happen with this new car. Can you please tell me what are some things that go wrong with a 2004 crysler Pacifica with 77000 miles on it and what would be a good warrenty to look into ,it only came with a 2500/2 month warranty due to it being over 74000.(I''ve received quotes from Conntinental and smart warranty-what are they like?) Everything and anything you can tell me about the car would be great, I have no one to ask to ask or get advice from. Thank- Amanda

Hello and thank you for choosing Just Answer.

There are a couple of TSB (also know as common problems) about the transmission engagment and harsh shifting. You may want to monitor and see if you can feel a hard thumb when the car is shifting. If you feel it, you may want to have them do a rebuild under warrenty.

Other than that, there are not any other "Major repairs that may come up."

Also here you have a maitenence chart for the car.
