I would change the pcv vavle as it could be plugged up and not venting the crank case. It is plugged into the valve cover. This is an inexpesive repair. Thanks

Does the vehicle have alot of miles on it. If it does then you are having blow by due to engine wear. The piston rings are allowing this to happen. That will entail internal engine repair.

ENGINE HAS APPROX 200m MILES AND HAS BEEN OVRERHEATED DUE TO FAULTY THERMOSTAT
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Am I correct to think the only solution now is a ring job or perhaps an engine changeout??????????????
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Are you pondering another solution?
If it overheated this could have caused damage to the rings as well as possibly warep the head. Internal damage because of wear based on the mileage. You could possiblt try going to a higher viscocity oil. One that is a single viscosity oil say a straight 40 weight.
