1992 900 turbo: convertible..the 3rd light works..brake lights..lamps

This answer was rated:

I have a 1992 900 turbo convertible with no-functioning braked lights. I eliminated the switch as the problem because the 3rd light works, just neither or the two main brake lights. The car had a LH circuit board installed 4 years ago, all other lamps on the board work. No evidence of shorting or overheating, bulbs good, fuse good.
hi thanks for using just answer

we usually see corrosion at the connector for the tail light boards, just replaced 2 last week, do you have power to the connector at the left hand board when the brakes are applied?

i'll check the wiring diagram and get right back to you
