96 Buick regal: changed the fuel filter last weekend...flooded..awhile

Have a 96 Buick regal, changed the fuel filter last weekend.. Now it''s cutting out and acting like it''s flooded when I try to start it.Just keeps dying, But will start again after sitting 4 awhile... Any idea where 2 start?

If the problem started when you installed the fuel filter you may want to see if you put the filter on in the right direction, there is usually a arrow on it showing the fuel flow it needs to point towards the front of the vehicle.

Reply to high tech's Post: The question that was answered was one that was submitted some time back.. New question was, The car is now not wanting to start after being driven for awhile.. To get it to start requires carb. cleaner being sprayed into the intake.. Then will run fine.

This is a common problem when low fuel pressure is present, you will need to get a fuel pressure reading and see if it is within spec.
