That is usually the Brake System Warning light.
Be sure the Emergency Brake is not engaged. Also check Brake Fluid level.
If the Light continues to stay on after the Ignition Switch has been cycled, then you need to have the vehicle scanned for Trouble Codes, to help find the problem
