2002 Olds Alero: Automatic Headlights..disconnect..reconnect..manually

Customer Question

I have a 2002 Olds Alero with the Automatic Headlights - the headlights will not go off so I have to disconnect the battery, as soon as I reconnect the battery the headlights come back on. What could the problem be and is there any way this operation can be bypassed and just operate the headlights manually?
