1999 Chevy: weather..the van to run rough until it would warm up

Customer Question

I have a 1999 Chevy Express 4.3L. Recently when the weather would warm apparently condensation would cause the van to run rough until it would warm up. I assumed the coil was grounding as I have experienced the same problem before. This helped a little. Now the van will not start or fire at all. I checked the distributor cap for condensation(very little) and tried to start van on carb cleaner with no result. The problem definitely is moisture related as when weather was cold and dry, the van ran just fine. Where do I begin? Thansk for your help.

If there any moisture at all, replace the cap and rotor. Then retry. If okay, press ACCEPT. If no luck there, try arcing a plug wire while cranking to see if there is fire at all. Let me know yes or no.

Good Luck. Please press ACCEPT. Also, If I have been helpful, please leave positive feedback. This is how we are judged. Thank You. Dave.
