Ensure that the electrical connectors are routed through the openings.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten Tighten the 2 trim panel screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
Tighten Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (53 lb in).
If the window motor is inoperable, remove the window to gain access to the window motor retaining screws. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
Important: Do not allow the cable gear come out of the housing. A failure will result with the cable coming off the spool.
Observe the orientation of the window motor.
Tighten Tighten the bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
