Ford: pads..reg..Every time i rev the engine up the brake pedal

Customer Question

Hi, i recently changed the front discs and pads on my M reg Ford Mondeo. We followed the haynes manual to the letter but since the change i have experienced excessive travel on the brake pedal. Every time i rev the engine up the brake pedal will push to the floor. There are no leaks of brake fluid anywhere so i am really lost as to why this is occuring. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Regards

Did the problem happen just after replacement of pads and rotors without opening up hydraulic system. Is this a front wheel drive car. Were the wheel bearings disturbed when removing the rotors.
