1996 FORD F-150: MY WAY HOME..TEMPERATURE GAUGE..BLOW HOT AIR

I HAVE A 1996 FORD F-150. THIS MORNING ON MY WAY HOME THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE STARTING SHOWING HOT, MY HEATER WOULD NOT BLOW HOT AIR, AND EVERYTIME I WOULD STOP, I WOULD HERE WATER GURGLING NOISES. WHEN I GOT HOME I SAW THAT THE WATER HAD BACKFLUSHED TO THE RESERVIOR. WHAT COULD BE MY PROBLEM?

Most likely reason is a stuck thermostat accompanied by an anti-freeze leak. Have the system pressure tested to find the leak or confirm there isn't a leak.
