The problem might be a bad crankshaft position sensor.

Check to see if you have battery voltage at the coil positive terminal with the key on.

No voltage would indicate a problem in the ignition circuit (bad ignition switch or open automatic shutdown relay.

If you have voltage but no spark, then the problem could be the crank sensor, the coil, or the ignition driver circuit in the PCM.
