No there sure isnt,,,1996 and earlier you could.
However, if you were to take it to Autozone, or other major name parts stores, they will pull the codes for free and offer some solutions,,,if it gets to deep, you can post the code numbers here, and we will look them up and point ya in the right direction.

Unfortunatly it will require a Tech 1 scan tool in order to retrieve the codes :-(
It used to be easier, but with the OBDII system, it has to be done that way.
