I was asking this question for my husband Rich. He has worked for 2 days straight and in bed now. He said he cannot get to the starter, he said the whole engine seems to be in front of it and he cannot even reach his hand or anything up into the engine to loosen the bolts on the starter. I plan on accepting your advice but I am not sure if I should push the accept button until I get the full answer but I am waiting to hear from you.39375.9949251157
He did state earlier that he had big hands but with extensions and adapters he should be able to reach starter bolts to remove...just follow instructions ....i have big hands and heart too (they say same are same size) but he can do it

Thank you. I hope that this helps him. He will be working on it on Monday as he has the day off. He might start tomorrow though. We will have to buy the extentions and adaptors that you are speaking of. Do you have any idea what he will need?
Probably a 12,13 or 14mm socket with a univeral swivel an extension and a rachet and a wrench to remove the battery cable....thats my best
