alarm system is very sensitive, and I would like to disconnect it.

I have a 1996 Gallant. The alarm system is very sensitive, and I would like to disconnect it. How?

What does the remotes say on them do they say mitsubishi on them or automate or something like that

Well then thats the whole problem you need the remotes to fix this problem

Reply to Cardoctor74's Post: I can set the alarm by locking the doors, but it (the alarm) is VERY sensitive. It seems even a slight breeze sets it off. It as older car, I just wanted to disconnect the alarm. That is what I am looking for.

Ok you need to ind in the under dash fuse box the secirity fuse and remove it this will disengauge the alarm or their is a little black box under the left side of dash and you just need to remove the connector to it
