Customer replied 2184 days and 13 hours ago.

Reply to Lurch's Post: I do have the radio disconnected. I do not believe I have an adapter plug. I bought the radio and now having to connect the new to old wires in my truck. They are different colors than the new stereo wires.

You should use an Adapter plug, so you won't have to splice into Factory wires.

Here is Factory & (should be ) your New Radio wires

Constant 12V+ Pink = Yellow
Switched 12V+ Blue = Red
Ground Gray = Black
Illumination Red/Blue
Dimmer Red/Yellow
Front Speakers:
Left Front (+) Pink = White
Left Front (-) Blue = White / Black
Right Front (+) White = Gray
Right Front (-) Black = Gray / Black
Rear Speakers :
Left Rear (+) Light Green = Green
Left Rear (-) Purple = Green / Black
Right Rear (+) Blue = Purple
Right Rear (-) Pink = Purple / Black

Customer replied 2184 days and 13 hours ago.

The colors of the old stereo are: 12 wires total, 1 green/white, 1 pink/white, 1 pink/blue, 1 red/green, 1 black, 1 black/white, 1 brown, 1 brown/white, 1 grey, 1 grey/red, 1 green, 1 green/black

Our factory colors are not those colors.

I take it is not a Hardbody P.U.?

Customer replied 2184 days and 12 hours ago.

Not sure what a hard body pickup is? We have a standard small nissan pickup. Im a woman, i dont know much about trucks. Electronics i know more about, just not when it comes to the wires in a truck.

Customer replied 2184 days and 12 hours ago.

most of the color chart you gave me matches, i just have brown wires and pink wires in the truck

Customer replied 2184 days and 12 hours ago.

he is going to try this and if it works, i will make payment, if we need additional help i will reply, and send you more money

Don't want you to burn anything out........
That is another reason for the Adapter Plug.
Be sure the wires are correct.
You can take a 1.5 Volt Battery (flashlight battery) & connect accross the wires I gave you to find the Speaker, & it will not damage anything.

Example:
Pink & Blue ...the speaker will pop or make a noise
