2000 lincoln town car: change the heater core..plenium still bolted

Customer Question

2000 lincoln town car, how to change the heater core, and do you have to discharge a/c system, or can you change it with the plenium still bolted in the vehicle

The entire dash board has to come out of this, and then the entire a/c heater box. This means not only recharging the a/c but also disarming the air bag system. It is a MAJOR job and not one to be started lightly.
