Customer Question

My son has a 1993 Ford Escort LX. I noticed that his airconditioner has quit working. What I mean is that when you push the button on the heater/ac control panel the light does not turn blue. I have checked all of the 15 amp fuses in the i/p fuse panel with no luck. Do you have any advice? The blower seems to be working. Looking thru the Haynes repair manual there might be a possiablity that the Heater control panel could be bad. What do you think. Thank You Micki

If the fuses are good I would check the switch to make sure it is working. As you can see from the diagram below the switch power from the rear wiper fuse and grounds through the blower switch.

Reply to autodoc_2000's Post: Thank you for your help. I was looking at the 1997 diagram in the Haynes. Now I can look at the 10 amp fuse then the switch. Micki
