I would start with the basics.check the spark plugs and ignition wires.the ignition switch should have nothing to do with a misfire code. The spark plugs should be removed(keeping track of which cylinder they came from)check condition of plugs to see if there is any oil build up or damage to plugs,or if they are just worn out.also check the plug wires for damage,or spots that appear to be burnt thru. When replacing ignition components, don't look for the cheapest parts.OE parts should always be considered if not to pricey.I have replaced many brand new aftermarket ignition parts that didn't work on japanese cars.Good luck.
