2001 Grand Prix: Fuse Panel Behind Glove Box..engine compartment

This answer was rated:

2001 Grand Prix Low Voltage At Fuse Panel Behind Glove Box On HVAC\DIC and HVAC CTRL all other fuses have 12 to 13 volts. These only have 6 to 8 with no fuses in slot. I have check the relative fuse in the engine compartment and have plenty of voltage there. I have reviewed the electrical schematic but can't find anything to cause the voltage drop
Both of those fuses get the voltage from the ignition switch. They are both on the ignition 3 circuit.Check to see if one of the wires on the ignition switch is showing the same low voltage. If it is replace the ignition switch.
