If you are leaking fluid, and it is not a hose, the only recourse is to replace teh component with teh leak. Stop-leak additives usually do not help much; they work by softening and expanding rubber seals, which can slow down a seal related leak occasionally, but dont normally fix anything.
Sounds like you will have to replace either the pump or the steering gear; whichever is leaking on your truck. I usually recommend installing top quality replacement parts when possible, as you usually get what you apy for when purchasing parts, and you really dont want to do this messy job twice. If cost is a primary issue, perhaps used omponents from a salvage yard might be an option. There really arent very many shortcuts or quick fixes when reapiring leaks.
