I cannot get a 220BT to work with a SWI-RC for Steering

Customer Question

I cannot get a 220BT to work with a SWI-RC for Steering wheel controls - any issues you are aware of ?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Blaupunkt 220BT is new - used in a 2007 Hyndai Sante Fe
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: it's a new install - chacked all soldered connections - unit just will not talk to the radio.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no - just wondering if it is a known conflict.

Well, I doubt its the wires if it has functioned in the past, those are notorious for this condition. Honestly I'd say next time your out take it to where you installed the module although if you did it yourself I doubt this would be a conversation worth having... they are quite difficult to program at times, and the commands are within second timeframes consecutively. Technically it should only have to be reprogrammed, would you like me to see if I can be of any further assistance?

Can you confirm the swi-rc unit does work with a Blaupunkf radio ?

If you see SWC written anywhere, it would only be for compatibility.

Well, you did not offer any useful information, and above that seemed to ignore any comments I had made.
This experience was not good in any way.
