I want to install an aftermarket head unit in my 2008 F-150

Customer Question

I want to install an aftermarket head unit in my 2008 F-150 King Ranch. Whatever I try to install inplace of the factory head unit, the truck wont start. Any way to bypass this factory security issue?

Hi there,

You should be abele to install another head unit without causing any problems.

Recheck all your wiring connections, grounds ,power, how you hooked up the head unit. You may have crossed some wires somewhere, perhaps the yellow ignition wire is shorted out?
