I have a Viper 5706V with idatalink ADS-AL(DL)GM1 bypass.

Customer Question

I have a Viper 5706V with idatalink ADS-AL(DL)GM1 bypass. Type 1 install for a 2001 Monte Carlo. Everything turns on but it does not crank over. No power at the Green or Violet Starter wires when I try to remote start it. Starts with key only. Have Green connected to Key side of Yellow starter wire and Violet connected to the car side of the yellow wire. Ignition wire shows 12V

Hi there,

If no power is getting to the starter then first check if the remote starter is set correctly automatic or manual transmission.
