Year, Make & Model Vehicle?
Did the previous Radio work?
Did you use a Wiring Adapter or cut & splice wires?
What Wiring Adapter did you use?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
1999 Toyota Camry. I had previously replaced the factory radio with a jvc CD player. It works. Cut and spliced wires.

There are a number of different Models of Camry
Please post what Model Camry?
.
Be sure there is Voltage + on the YELLOW & the RED (with Key ON) wire of the Pioneer
Test at the Plug of the Pioneer Chassis
.
Toyota Factory wire colors should be:
Constant 12V+ = Blue / Yellow
Switched 12V+ = Gray
Ground - = Brown
Illumination = Dark Green
Dimmer = White / Green

Front Speakers Doors
Left Front (+) = Pink
Left Front (-) = Purple
Right Front (+) = Green
Right Front (-) = Blue
Rear Speakers Rear Deck
Left Rear (+) = Black
Left Rear (-) = Yellow
Right Rear (+) = Red
Right Rear (-) = White
.
You need to compare the Wiring Guide of the Pioneer to the Factory Wire Guide above
.

1999 Camry SE. Your wire colors are completely wrong. RED is 12v YELLOW is constant power for memory. Ground is BLACK. All of your speaker colors are incorrect. I have no blue brown or gray wires.I have 12v power when key is turned and I have memory power when key is removed.Please do NOT charge me for your expert service, as none of your information is correct and you are not addressing my issue.
Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 1 year ago.

You have NOT provided me any information, but to "guess"
I have asked you "2" times what Model Camry
Camry:
CE, LE, XLE, Solara SE, Solara SEV6, Solara SLEV6
The wiring above is FACTORY CAMRY CE Radio Wiring.
Perhaps if you would answer correctly, I can get this done for you.........
Pioneer wiring colors are different from Factory wire colors & I do not know "how" you have wired the Factory wires, as I cannot see or touch your vehicle.
I am not here to cause issue
I am here to assist, & can only post to what info you provide

thanks

???
This is for "1999 Toyota Solara SE" Factory Wiring
.
Constant 12V+ = Blue / Yellow
Switched 12V+ = Gray
Ground = Brown
Illumination = Dark Green
Dimmer = White / Green

Front Speakers Doors
Left Front (+) = Pink
Left Front (-) = Purple
Right Front (+) = Green
Right Front (-) = Blue
Rear Speakers Rear Deck
Left Rear (+) = Black
Left Rear (-) = Yellow
Right Rear (+) = Red
Right Rear (-) = White
.
IF you DO NOT have those colors, then you are NOT looking at the Factory Radio Harness/ Plug, someone has "rewired" Factory wires, or you have a Factory Amplifier

.

Sir, I responded that I have a 1999 Camry SE. I do not have a Solara. Your responses are extremely rude. You should read my responses and questions prior to making flippant remarks.The problem was NEVER with the wiring. I assume there was a harness to the factory radio that I just spliced and connected to. All the colors match.
