My JVC NT 700 froze up. The volume display is on the screen

Customer Question

My JVC NT 700 froze up. The volume display is on the screen at 0 and I can't get the faceplatento open. I tried a reset to defaults which didn't work. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

What reset method did you use?

Do any of the buttons below the screen seem stuck?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I reset to factory defaults through the menu. No, all of the buttons on the bottom seem fine

Check that the touchscreen is clean - contamination on it can cause the system to not respond.
If that doesn't help, then it likely has a firmware glitch and will need to be retuned to a JVC service center.
