Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
It may have locked up. That can happen owing to
A. badly regulated power supplied to it, or variations on that power.
B. static discharge into the device owing to, for instance, its being touched by a person wearing a sweater or other woven or woolen garment.
(Such garments and fabric types tend to gather or generate static electricity.) Static discharge does not have to be felt as a prickle in the fingertips for it to lock up (or in bad cases, damage permanently) an electronic device.
I advise that you remove the battery and/or disconnect the power cord to the Navman device. And leave it that way, turned Off by removal of all power, for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Then restore power to it, and see if it has recovered its functions. Sometimes a 'rest reset' of this sort helps with the problems I have mentioned.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks.
