How do I change to the FM station to correspond with the XM reciever?

???

If you are using a "FM Modulated" XM Unit:

Be sure the XM Unit is On & a Station is showing on display
Typically FM Modulators use upper FM 87.1 - 89.9
Press SEEK on the Pioneer to find the XM Station
You may have to press SEEK a number of times to find it

If you are NOT using a "FM Modulated" XM Unit :

If the XM Unit is plugged directly into the Pioneer:
Press "AUX" or

Press SOURCE to select AUX as the source.

Press PGM to select the desired channel

select setting when selecting XM or SIRIUS

as the source.

Press PGM repeatedly to switch between the

following channel select settings:

Channel number (channel number select setting)-

Category (channel category select

setting)

When I'm in Aux, pressing PGM does nothing.

please understand.....I do not know "which" XM attachment you have ...
FM Modulated or Plug In

Or if there is XM added to your vehicle.

If you are not sure there is XM, you need to remove the Pioneer Unit & look for the XM Reciever Box that is plugged in
Many times, after the battery goes low or the Unit has been reset, you have to Unplug the XM Unit & reconnect to have the Pioneer "relearn" the XM Reciever

It's a plugin attachment. Wire goes from back of piioneer to the xm reciever. I previously had a Sirius reciever but had it replaced w an xm unit. It works but gets fuzzy alot so I don't think its set to the proper FM station. When i'm in aux there is no channel displayed.

When you say "plug in attachment" I take it as a "SCC1" XM Tuner that plugs into the Pioneer via a "DIN Type" Cable

If not, please explain the connection, as there are "many" different ways to connect XM

Not sure how to id the cable. The Tuner is GEXP920xm

Thank you for the "added" info.......
That is a "direct" plug in to the Unit
While I do not show the DEH P5900 on the install list, it should work

FM would have "nothing" to do with this Unit functioning
If XM is available (you need to have vehicle outside), then pressinf Source would turn the XM On

1 Press SOURCE to turn the head unit

on.

2 Press SOURCE to select "XM" source.

Press SOURCE repeatedly to switch between sources

if the reception is "fuzzy", then check outside XM Antenna (it must be the XM Antenna, NOT the Sirius Antenna)
Check Antenna Lead & Unit Plug In at GEXP920xm
Unit may be bad also
