Don't know if you can answer this one. Have a 189889 chev cheyenne pickup with a GM factory radio, am installing a new JVC radio which requires an external aerial hookup. The vehicle came with an external aerial but I can't find where the aerial plugged into on the factory GM radio which has no provision for a external hookup nor can I find the end of the cable coming from thr aerial. The vehicle does not have the aerial wires in the windshield.Thank you,Bernie
Optional Information: Make: Chev Model: cheyenne Already Tried: Tried to trace cable from the external aerial, took dash cover out, glove box,, I'm stumped!!

Thanks for sticking with us.In the C series trucks, the tuner for the radio is seperate from the "head" in the dash. You'll find the tuner here:The tuner/amplifier component of this OEM system is remote from the radio, located directly above the accelerator mounting bracket. This is where the power, speaker and antenna connections are located (this is where the wiring matches Metra's 70-1858 receiver wiring adapter and GM10 antenna adapter).
