i have just purchased a pioneer deh-4400bt, i have plugged

Resolved Question:

i have just purchased a pioneer deh-4400bt, i have plugged in all the cables and it was working correctly, however when turning the ignition back on the system resets back to set up. is there something im not doing correctly?

Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, please ensure that:

  • there is constant + 12V on the yellow wire;
  • there is ignition switched +12V on the red wire;
  • the black wire is connected to a metal frame, bracket or support not only to the wiring/harness.

Use a testlight to check for the presence/consistency of the +12Vs.

Please post back how things turned up and/or should you need additional information.
