hey for some reson my alpine deck plays sound through the radio but when i switch it to ipod or cd no sound comes out even though it shows it playing on the deck. Just wondering if theres any way of fixing it or if i need a new one?
Optional Information: Make: Nissan Model: Patrol Already Tried: i have checked all the wiring, replaced the fuse in the back, and tried restarting it several times.

hi the model number is XXX- 9886 and i bought it in 2008. i have tried raplacing the fuse in the unit and checking all the wiring but nothing seems to be working.
So you only can get he radio to work and not the cd correct
yes the radio works but cd and ipod dont work even though it shows the songs playing on the unit
Ok that's a strange one , have you tried to reset it yet?
yes ive reset already
Try it again and hold it down for 30 seconds, make sure nothing is plugged into the ports on it, like an iPod or USB stick
just tried that. it still doesnt work
do you have a CD changer installed also?

ok, then according to my service manual it states that the cd modual has moisture in itit says remove the stereo and let it dry out
