Fujitsu Ten Satellite Navigation System with Bluetooh for Toyota Part No PZQ60-0020. Does Fujitsu have any technical support for this unit.I am trying to download the Phonebook from my HTC Desire phone to the phonebook in the Sat Nav System for making mobile phone calls in the Car.The system waits for the phone to commence transferring and does not proceed when following the Owner's Manual's Instruction. How do I transfer the phonebook into the Sat Nav System.Looking forward to your advice.
Already Tried: Followed the Owner's Manual instruction but it does not proceed past the Step Transfer Data with prompt Under Transfer, Please transmit phone book data from mobile phone. There does not appear to be any transmit facility or prompt on the phone to transmit the data.
Thanks for stopping by.Fujitsu Ten is the parent company for Eclipse brand radios in the aftermarket, and they make great product. Unfortunately, factory equipment does not have the same features and they do not support it like their aftermarket brands. The manufacturer would be your contact. But in the world of Bluetooth - there is constantly evolving software, and new phones coming out almost daily it seems. It is impossible for manufacturers to keep up with the changes - and there is no "official" bluetooth standard. In fact - the same phone on 2 different providers will have different features available or locked out at the provider's request. You will find a caveat in most literature - something to the effect of "Due to the changing state of electronics, you may find limited or no functionality when accessing the bluetooth feature of this radio"And you ALSO find that while MOST phones will have connectivity, and be able to make and get calls - that newer phones will not sync phonebooks without an update of the radio's firmware.I suggest contacting your local Toyota dealer, and asking if there is a Bluetooth update for your Model/Year vehicle's radio. They would need to do this update - as it requires a connection to the shop computer. This may NOT be available... and it might not EVER be available - as many manufacturer's don't spend time resources writing firmwar updates quarterly.Unless/until you have the radio updated - you cannot force this handshake of your two units. Thanks!!
