We received a Nexstar GPS as a gift last Christmas. Have used it twice.While traveling to Cape Cod in Aug. it stopped talking to us. Directions were still coming through and we were able to follow them. Cannot find a volume button or anyway to correct this problem.
Other than a reset of the system - your only option is to return to nextar under 1 year warranty.They have the worst customer service in the industry, and don't have much in the way of online support.From Nextar:
