Sorry I'm looking to buy the Pioneer AVIC-F500BT PORTABLE NAVIGATION GPS
It reads like you can use your existing stereo.

Yes - this is a standalone ONdash unit.

The only thing going through your vehicle's stereo is the audio portion. (with the optional amplifier ND-G500)

In addition to boosting the power of your factory system, the amp features an auxiliary input that accepts the audio signal from the AVIC-F500BT, so you'll hear music, navigation directions, and Bluetooth enabled phone calls clearly over your car's speaker system. The ND-G500 connects to your factory radio's speaker outputs with the help of the supplied wiring harnesses.
