DELCO (# 15071233) AM/FM/CD Aux Button

Customer Question

Hello Sir !

Sometimes i think i'm stupid !
I've just bought a 2003 Chevy Z71, in it i've an OEM DELCO Electronics AM/FM/CD Car Audio (# 15071233) i don't think it's the BOSE system, i've an amplifier behind the glove Box, seperate speakers (middle - tweeter) on each front, 1 speaker in each back door, 1 tweeter on each cargo pilar, and a subW in the cargo (no Bose striping nowhere, and all speakers made in mexico)

this car audio has an AUX button in the face plate just below the CD button but ...

I found nowhere something looks like an AUX PORT.

There is just 2 rectangular connectors in the back of the car Audio !

Could you help me ?
Is there an AUX port somewhere ?
What isd the use of this AUX Button ?

Thanks a lot by advance
Regards.

Joe

The Delco Unit has no Input Port from Factory.
You need to use a Adapter Harness & Module like the PAC (click) > > H E R E

This will give you a number of solutions using the AUX Button

While it would be best to pull radio & identify the Plugs in the radio, then call PAC, typically the parts you need would be:
AUXBOX Module
ABGM12 Harness

As long as you do not have ON-Star or CD Changer

Wow !!!

I have no CD Changer, but i have an On-Star System (wich is unusefull in France !)

Problem ?
