I have accumulated a significant amount capital losses over

Customer Question

I have accumulated a significant amount capital losses over the years--which, at this point in my life, I will never be able to off set with capital gains. Is it possible to sell or otherwise monetize some portion of or all of my unused capital losses?

Unfortunately you cannot sell or even give away your capital losses.

The carry forward option is all allowed by law.

I know the answer is short but there is no tax code that permits what you suggest.
