Ask a Canada Law Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello! My name is***** you for your question. I'm reviewing it now, and will post back again shortly.
What you are being told makes no sense.
Paying insurance does not prevent customs from opening a package.
Customs is the government. Why would they agree not to open a package because some company pays insurance? And it is not legal to purchase this online because you need a prescription for this as it is regulated.
And no doctor can give a subscription online because you first need to have the doctor examine you and run some tests to see if is is needed. So you are being scammed and also taking a huge risk (aside from a health risk because you don't even know what you are actually getting).Does that help? Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions you may have. If you don't have any then I hope I have earned a 5 star rating but if you don't feel that I have please don't hesitate to reply back and let me know what more I can do to assist you. Finally, please know that even after you rate me I will be here for you and you can ask follow-up questions if you think of them later on at no further charge of course.
They are trying to scam you by scaring you into paying.
We don't even know if the package does exist.
I think you should cut off all communications with them and end this matter.
