No. No one would be responsible personally for the debt. But the mother's estate is responsible for the debt. And, the mother's estate must pay off that debt and all debts and all taxes before anyone at all can inherit.Does that answer your question? Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions that you may have. If you do not have any follow-up questions I hope that I have provided you with a five star rating. However, if you do not feel that I have earned this five star rating please do not hesitate to let me know how I can better assist you. Finally, please note that even after you rate me I will be here for you and you can ask any follow-up questions at a later date without any further charge.
