I am an employer in Vancouver, Canada and I have a question

Customer Question

Hi there,
I am an employer in Vancouver, Canada and I have a question for you.
Two of my employees started a personal relationship a while ago which ended a month ago. They can't stand one another anymore and I am forced to let one of them go. What are my obligations toward the person that is getting laid off?
Of course I am keeping the person who is more beneficial to my business rather than getting to the cause of the separation.
I would greatly appreciate your any advice!
