Customer Question

in Ontario can a valid construction lien be registered 60 days from the last day of work!!

Hello, thank you for the question.

No, it's 45 days from the last date of work or delivery of goods to the site, I'm afraid.

If one misses that 45 day period, then one either has to try to justify a later "last date", or bring an action under regular civil law rules of 2 years.

Does that answer you?
